Munthali Ndix Weekly Tournament

Ndirande is a township within the commercial city of Blantyre, Malawi. It is regarded as a township that spearheads in every activity. The president of ADMA Misheck Munthali, happens to come from the same township. As a draughts promoter he sponsors a local tournament which takes place every Sunday and this tournament is referred to as Ndirande Sunday Challenge but now it has been renamed as Munthali Ndix Tournament. The weekly challenge is in two categories First class category and second class category.
Players in the First Class are as follows
Dick, Chikondi, Kayuni, Lyson, Mozee, Gani and Mark

Players in the Second Class are as follows
Amos, Enerst, Tambala, Mzanzi, Kamphonda, Banda, Levison, Mike and Aron

The rule is whoever gets position number one in the second class earns an automatic promotion into the First Class and again whoever gets last position in the First Class is automatically demoted into second class

Every action in these weekly challenges will be captured and results of the same will be posted here on weekly basis

So this Sunday, 29 July 2012 there will be a crash amongst players in the First Class and yet another crash amongst players in the second class.

Enock Makoka VS Madalitso Thom (Baba)

These two players represented Malawi against a destroyer from Zambia, unfortunately they both got defeated with almost the same margin. but there is a saying "to fall down is not a sign of defeat but to stay down" so these players have categorically refused to stay down as they still believe that they can pull a revenge. They said that when Sacks was put into lions den i.e. in the Malawi top ten he did not manage to take position one instead he found himself on position four despite having beaten the two selected best players. In the top ten round robin crash,  Enock was on position one seconded by Madalitso thom. Unofficial reports say that Baba is normally on top when these Lilongwe based player sort each other out.


This coming Sunday (29-07-12) these two guys crash in yet another 10 game match. They are all best players of Malawi but who is the best of the best. Let’s wait and see.

Chikondi VS Gani

Chikondi was once a teacher to young lad Ganizani in short Gani, and the Lad has tremendously improved Gan is the only player who never tested defeat against destroyer of Zambia in two game Match

This comming Saturday 29 July its David Goliath encounter.

The match will take place on 29 July 2012 from 3:00PM,  at the residence of Mr Nkunda.
